Crying Nut

Korea’s premier punk band, Crying Nut, has a melodically chaotic sound that is heavily informed by southern California’s hardcore/ska scene including bands like NOFX, Bouncing Souls and Millencolin. Their early work is more raw, reminiscent of late 80′s east coast hardcore bands like Minor Threat and Black Flag. They sing in both Korean and English equally well and have a wide fan base outside of Korea. Crying Nut is on Drug Records and can be found on iTunes. You can catch Crying Nut in concert this summer at the Jisan Valley Rock Festival. Oi, oi, oi!
