I have come not to expect much from knock-offs and even less from knock-offs of knock-offs but in the Burnham, Kraze, Breeze Burn’s cycle of repetition Breeze Burn’s wins in the breakfast category. Over looking Gwangalli, one of Busan’s nicest beaches, Breeze Burn’s has, indeed, a breezy feel and the food does not disappoint. I actually prefer Burnham for burgers but Breeze Burn’s brunch is surprisingly good. If you disregard the under-ripe tomatoes (ubiquitous on every breakfast plate it seems) everything was fresh and well prepared.

Given that most things eaten while looking at the ocean taste better maybe I’m biased in saying its one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in Korea. The next contenders (Suji’s and Flying Pan Blue) are miles away in both quality and distance but with the depressing dearth of a decent e and b on the peninsula there is not much in between. The coffee is god awful, as it in most places that serve breakfast, and it begs the question:  if coffee shops can get coffee right and restaurants can get breakfast right, why can’t one place ever seem to do both at the same time?

Breeze’s Burns ingredients are familiar stuff for the most part, shipped in from Daegu’s Costco (the must be happy about the Busan location opening) but the waffles are made fresh to order. The bread is also good, dense and wheaty and not that yeast-tasting lard paper you get in the bakeries here. The sausages were also a hit being plump with oozing pork fat and not stuffed with filler. Using green beans for that splash of green every plate needs is really great idea and they were really tender and fresh. All in, its a satisfying bit of feed that will give you everything you where dreaming of from bed and you can enjoy the beach view to boot.  Also, in a rare twist, they happen to have Grace Brand hot sauce from Jamaica which is one of my favorites.

Well alot of things changed, I’ve been eating at Breez burn’s like years
few of burgers are gone otta menu, they invented new foods but I’d prefer the old ones.
Actually Break fast has improved alot, got a salad on it and the walfle taste better than last year but I think ther something missing few parts, salad sauce is terrible awful.
By the way I give a little advise, if you’ve got chance to go Busan and intend to go another Breeze burn’s branch? don’t go to suymyon’s, ther’s petties alway get burned. the owner was a cheep set too
