Seoul Fashion Week

Seoul Fashion Week, which opened yesterday, will be held until April 2nd at Seoul Trade Exhibition Centre (SETEC).  Menswear collections grace the runway first (March 25th to 27) , followed by the collections for women (March 28th to April 1st).  All Shows are open to the public, except for the JUUN. J and Song Jain collections, which are limited to buyers and press. Tickets can be purchased online and by telephone at 1566-1369. However, both services are in Korean only. Affordable single show tickets  and day passes are available. To get to SETEC take the subway to Hangyeol Station, Line 3. Exit 3 will lead you up to the main exhibition building that houses Hall 1 to 3. A rare glimpse into the Korean fashion industry, future designers, fashion junkies, and serious Project Runway fans will surely enjoy.

Die Galerie, the latest addition to Gangnam’s gallery scene, opened last month with a show celebrating the last 35 years of german contemporary with a body of work spanning from the end of World War  Two to the fall of the Iron Curtain.
